Everyone Benefits!Yes, believe it. If you share your fishing spots everyone benefits, even you. 
This page is directed mostly at those experienced anglers who are reluctant to share their spots. History shows us that trying to keep something hidden, or secret, is not the way to protect it. The way to protect our fishing resources is to expose them to as many people as possible. The more recreational anglers we are able to help have positive experiences the more people we have on our side if legislation is required. 
All we ask is that you keep this in mind when deciding whether or not to share. Could those few extra people who were able to experience a succesful outing because of your post be the deciding votes when it comes time. Will they vote to allow that proposed construction after having such a wonderful time, knowing that it will no longer be possible? Do you want to save that special spot for only yourself for the near term, or save it for your grandchildren in the long term? |
