Q: How do I find answers to my questions?: A: If your questions are not answered on this page then please check the forums.
Q: Why can't I use HTML in my reports?: A: This is necessary to help protect the server which GEOPESCO runs on. HTML is disabled everywhere except for BLOG entries.
Q: What's a BLOG?: A: BLOG is short for Web Log. It's a place on your profile page for you to keep notes for yourself and others. You can pretty much use it for any purpose you like as long as it has something to do with fishing. For fishing guides it would make a good place to advertise your services.
Q: Why doesn't my report show on the home page?: A: There could be two reasons for this. [1] The reports on the home page are 'cached' to make the page load quicker and lesson the load on the server. Your report will show up when the cache expires, which usually takes about an hour. [2] You have not changed your 'Display Name' under your profile. The default display name is 'New User', no reports from that name will show up on the home page so you will need to change that. You can edit your profile here as long as you are logged in.
